7 Ways to Feed Your Positive Attitude (in 5 minutes or less)

Do you want to boost your positive attitude? Got 5 minutes? Your outlook on life might already be positive and in a smart move to consider, you want to make sure you don’t lose it! Or maybe you need to find ways to bring a bright, cheerful boost into your life. The idea of how to find a positive attitude isn’t just about what you are confronting in life, it is about where you want to be and how you choose to think about things. The biggest thing about a positive life is your decision to be cheery, smiling and focused in a strong direction of hopeful spirits. Yep, a positive attitude!

Feel Good: Feed Your Positive Attitude Often

Life can definitely be a struggle when it comes to positive outlooks. You might have a positive attitude, but not every moment of the day is filled with joy and you are running low of energy. You know it’s accomplishment to aspire to, but like a fast moving river you get swept away with situations, options and people that aren’t such a good influence. I get you! It’s leaving you with a question: What kind of boosts can I give my positive attitude despite the circumstances?

I’ve come up with this list of ways to boost your positive attitude. I’ve found it’s helpful tips like these to get back on the path of positive, if, on occasion you slip or stay around negativity too long. It’s all about intention and intentionally using five minutes to make your positive attitude stay strong.

7 Ways to Feed Your Positive Attitude:

  1. Pump up the music. Positive tunes are contagious and you will find your spirits and your decision to look at the brighter side of life come with ease.

  2. Walk the block. A quick stroll, where you might go faster than a typical journey, will get your blood pumping. It will also allow you to think about the situations you face in a new, positive setting.

  3. Go Shopping. There is no time to rush to the mall, but you there is no need. A quick look online and you might find items you’ve been dreaming about. Buy or browse. It’s a feel good action!

  4. Text a Friend. Reach out to someone you appreciate and see how their day is going. It’s impossible not to find a positive attitude after talking with someone you know.

  5. Plan a trip. Technically it might take more than five minutes to plan a trip, but you will find a gleeful place if you explore your interests. From cities to adventures and every place in-between, plan something!

  6. A cup of Coffee. A small token to appreciate you is a great way to enjoy the day. It doesn’t need to be coffee, it could be any number of other things. Taking a moment to read the paper, cleaning up your desk or waving to a stranger. Look for positive ways to show appreciation.

  7. Cute pet videos. Watching cat videos or dog videos will have your positive attitude returning in no time at all. It’s hard to be sad, mad or grumpy checking out an adorable animal that is exploring life.

A positive attitude means your mind, body and soul align to offer your best and share the goodness of living. You should decide that you want to have a happy life and try every means possible to have it. Hopefully a few of these tips will offer a way to have a positive attitude, just in case you need a boost! Or your attitude needs a healthy feeding of happy!
